There isn't much in the way of awards for traditional dojos such as ours, so it is always delightful for us to receive that annual email from Active Activities every February to see where we rank.
Active Activities lists more than 21,000 sports centres, schools, party venues, music academies and more to help South African parents find the right extra mural or activity for their child. To be in the top 25 overall (and number 8 of all activities in South Africa!) is a huge honour for us.
For 2024, these were our accolades:
More than anything, it shows that we are offering the best service we can for the students we are so lucky to have. We know that there are so many other activities, and we are humbled to be one of Joburg's favourites, especially given the sheer number of karate schools in the city.
That's enough celebrating for now - time for us to get back to work!
